The Throwback Thursday (TBT) online series of texts and images was initiated as a way to activate the Green Papaya archives by approaching its history through various entry points in the hopes of engaging readers. On May 7, 2020, less than a week after Papaya’s 20th anniversary, the series was launched with a brief text on the 15th edition of the Visayas Islands Visual Arts Exhibition and Conference (VIVA ExCon) held in Roxas City in 2018.
