In 2002, Lai Hsin-Lung invited several independent art spaces—including Shin Leh Yuan Art Space, Want Space, Paint House Gallery, and Dogpig Art Cafe—to collectively curate "String—Nomadic Convergence" at Huashan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. As part of this collaborative exhibition, Paint House Gallery presented Eclipsing the Sky with One Hand: Fresh Paint! curated by Yu Wei.
