Asia Art Archive welcomes Kith Tsang Tak Ping to our Residency Programme.
During his residency, Tsang will explore materials in AAA’s Hong Kong collections, and document selected texts and images with watercolour painting in his project Sketching AAA, capturing facets of Hong Kong contemporary art through every brushstroke.
Kith Tsang Tak Ping is an educator and farmer, working across art education, practice, curation, research, and criticism. Tsang has exhibited internationally, including at the 4th Gwangju Biennale, and the 50th and 54th Venice Biennales. He was Associate Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Design for twenty-four years.
This residency is part of the project Recalling Disappearance: Hong Kong Contemporary Art which is financially supported by the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
