A series of workshops to explore collaborative ways to compile bibliographies as part of AAA’s ongoing Bibliography project. 

 

Bibliography Workshop

The second Bibliography Workshop held in partnership with Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, for students and young researchers of the institution to examine writing by artists in its multiple forms, including letters, poems, essays, reports, and reviews. Following the first workshop in Dhaka in December 2015, the Santiniketan programme continues to focus on art writing in Bengali in addition to translations between Bengali and English—examples of which will be collected to enrich AAA's ongoing Bibliography project.

Archivists and art historians gather to discuss the subject of archives, presenting three Bengal-specific case studies: Rabindra Bhavana (Santiniketan), Archives of the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta (Kolkata), and Kala Bhavana (Santiniketan).
