Vijaya Thapa (curator) once wrote that Ashmina Ranjit 'found power and beauty in women and expressed it in a very deep way. She reiterated that the chain of creation was possible due to the ability of women. She has presented the truth that women have the power and their beauty can hypnotise all through sensitive installations'. These words are well illustrated in Ranjit's charcoal drawings of different hairstyles of Nepalese women as shown in the present exhibition catalogue.
