Guan Jianci is a visual culture project by a working group led by artist Xu Tan. In this edition of Guan Jianci, he investigates the keyword 'Overseas Chinese Town' (OCT) of Shenzhen by interviewing 20 residents in the area and collated the responses from 12 residents/artists in this book. Short essays by 6 members in the working group are included as well.
