Revelations No. 1: Earth was realised on 14 July 2004 at Jianwai SOHO, Beijing. During the performance, 1.6 gram of tested soil taken from the upper stream of the Yellow River was embedded into Yang Zhichao's body through surgical operation. The process lasted for 35 minutes.
