This document is an unedited draft on the basis of which art critic Geeta Kapur presented a paper at the 34th Association of Art Historians (AAH) Annual Conference titled 'Location: the Museum, the Academy and the Studio,' organised by Tate Britain, London. The conference was held from 2 - 4 April 2008.
