Fire Sculpture (Work in Progress)

Frog King and friends making the installation at the Tuen Mun Art Festival, on which Frog King set fire to a cotton quilt on a triangular metal rack. It is explicated by the artist that, with the union of fire and metal material, the work implies perpetuity of the heavy industries, an auspicious blessing to Tuen Mun district.

The production of 'Fire Sculptures' (火之雕塑) was part of an artistic project in the 1970s exploring the five natural elements (五行), which includes Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.

Tuen Mun Art Festival organised by the artist is considered a 'Public Educational Art Project'.
