'Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. The Wright Brothers are still celebrated for their first airplane flight. I was surprised to learn that Kill Devil Hills was the site of their successful flight, not Kitty Hawk. Several hundred people attended the ceremony including descendants of aviators and others in the industry.'
