The painting is based on a photograph taken by Ringo Bunoan of Roberto Chabet looking at his portrait painted by Nona Garcia.
It was included in 'Complete and Unabridged Part 2', a group exhibition by Roberto Chabet's students from the 1990s onwards, at Osage, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong from 4 March - 9 May 2011. The exhibition is part of 'Chabet:50 series', a series of exhibitions organised by King Kong Art Projects Unlimited in various venues in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Manila from 2011 - 2012.
