Gala Opening Tonite

Article on the exhibition 'Twenty Years of Philippine Art: 1946-1966' titled 'Gala Opening Tonite' by Eric Torres in his column 'Way of Seeing' in The Manila Times in 1966.

The exhibition was curated by Arturo Luz to inaugurate the new Luz Gallery on EDSA, Makati. It featured the works of Napoleon Abueva, Ang Kiukok, Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, Angelito Antonio, Antonio Austria, Virgilio Aviado, Tomas Bernardo, Kelvin Chung, Florencio Concepcion, Tomas Fernandez Concepcion, Joan Edades Cuadra, Josefina Escudero, Marciano Galang, Lamberto Hechanova, Anita Magsaysay-Ho, Romulo de Jesus, Jose Joya, Fred Kalingking, Cesar Legaspi, Alfredo Liongoren, Arturo Luz, Mauro Malang Santos, Noel Manalo, Vicente Manansala, David Cortez Medalla, J. Elizalde Navarro, Galo Ocampo, Hernando Ocampo, Victor Oteyza, Mario Parial, Rodolfo Ragodon, Cenon Rivera, Alfredo Roces, Renato Rocha, Manuel Rodriguez, Manuel Rodriguez Jr., Roberto Chabet, Luis Romero, Nena Saguil, Juvenal Sanso, Romeo Tabuena, Raymundo Valencia, Alan Zie Yongder, Oscar Zalameda, and Fernando Zobel.
