Review of the exhibition 'Fear and Desire: Aspects of Recent Abstraction' by Talitha Espiritu.

The exhibition was curated by Roberto Chabet at the Cultural Center of the Philippines from 10 September to 20 October 1993. It featured the works of Ronald Achacoso, Alfredo Aquilizan, R.J. Briones, Annie Cabigting, Teta Tayag-Capitulo, Josie Lim Cruz, Celia Lapena, Jet Melencio, Joy Melencio, Maningning Miclat, Elaine Roberto-Navas, Lubin Nepomuceno, Maggie Obana, Jonathan Olazo, Marlon Palaganas, Kelly Ramos, Bobot Raquepo, Ruel Rilloraza, Juni Salvador, Jesus Juan San Pascual, Ramil Segovia, Norman Sustiguer, Angel Ulama, Trek Valdizno, and Ulysses Veloso.

The review includes photographs of the works of Norman Sustiguer, R.J. Briones and Alfredo Aquilizan and mentions the works of Juni Salvador and Jonathan Olazo.
