Works by Gerardo Tan presented at his solo exhibition 'Instructions' curated by Roberto Chabet at Finale Art Gallery, SM Megamall from 26 July to 5 August 2001.
The exhibition features 'six large, near monochrome, near blank, near identical metallic paintings and a blow up of a set of cook book-like instructions and illustrations on how to make the paintings. The methods and procedures are derived from an artist book by Rudolf Stingel.'
