The kitchen wall in Salon Natasha. A painting by Dinh Thi Tham Poong is displayed. On its left is a box of cigarette packages cut and assembled by Vu Dan Tan; it was exhibited at the 2nd Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Brisbane, Australia, 1996.
Vu Dan Tan attempted to make the Salon a space more than a gallery; he emphasised its unique and natural combination of a home, an artist’s studio, a venue for friends and art lovers to get together, and an exhibition space.
