'Under the theme of the "Great Theatre of the World", curators Bartemou Mari and Chia Chi Jason Wang have written relevant discourses and come up with a new vision for the development of international contemporary art in the 21st century. The exhibition seeks to provide an insightful dialogue in order to stimulate spectators to actively enter the space of the artist's works to explore their meanings. We hope that through the outstanding works with distinctive characters, techniques and references to the theatre, viewers can find a lucid way to understand the communications and expression's in today's society and re-examine life and the world with a broad outlook.' - abstract from preface by Tsai-Lang Huang, Director of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
