This is the catalogue for an exhibition of selected works by the late Li Chun-Shen and his pupils. Abstract art in Taiwan was first pioneered by a group of artists who later emerged as the 'Eight Sounding Horses' of modern painting, and Li was the mentor of these artists. Li's artistic achievements were dominated by his paintings and his teachings.
The exhibition was held in honor of the artist's contribution to the education and development of fine art in Taiwan. A brief introduction is provided in the catalogue.
