This documentary was screened as part of 'Performing the Archipelago', a series of events on 12 & 13 Oct 2012 that are a continuation of Atlas of Asia Art Archive, an installation created by artist/architect duo MAP Office during their residency at Asia Art Archive. 'The film flows with the changing of the seasons, following no specific storyline. There are no great joys, no great tragedies. Everything happens, yet nothing comes to conclusion; time simply passes. Strictly speaking, this is an edited visual archive of the countryside, a day-to-day account of an ordinary southwestern village of no particular importance.' — from AAA's programme webpage
In Mandarin with simplified Chinese and English subtitles.
