This catalogue was published in conjunction with the exhibition 'Chu Wei-bor, A Retrospective' 12 March - 5 June 2005, organised by Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
The retrospective exhibition illustrates the career of the artist against the background of various art movements. Under the influence of western artistic trends in the 50s and 60s, Chu engaged himself in creating works that would reflect western modern art vocabulary and at the same time retain an eastern character.
Artist biography is included together with preface written by Huang Tsai-lang, Director of Taipei Fine Arts Museum
