The Agency for Cultural Affairs has dispatched young Japanese artists abroad to give them opportunities to study outside Japan since 1967. This dispatching system currently covers various forms of art, such as visual art, music, dance, drama, movie, and theatrical design, as well as art management.
Domani has been held annually since 1998 to present the accomplishments of these dispatched artists. “DOMANI: The Art of Tomorrow 2010” Exhibition" showcases works by 12 artists who have not previously been featured and are selected from various generations and different art forms. Artists' biographies are included.
