Presented by Nadi Gallery on the occasion of ARTSingapore 2004, Indonesian artist Agus Suwage continues his interest in portraiture, in particular, self-portrait. In the Fabulous Fable series, Agus Suwage's portraits are each juxtaposed by an insect or animal. Rizki Zaelani, in his essay, suggested that the issue of human dignity could be the theme that the artist would like to ask his audience and himself to contemplate on. Artist biography is included.
