Fair & Furious: Feminine Fables as unfolded through the works of 12 contemrporary artists is an attempt to look into the complexities and contradictions surrounding the female form. Variously depicted by artsts over the centuries, the show attempts to uncover these interpretations of womanhood through the 50 works that form part of the collection. In order to get a balanced perspective on the subject, a number of male artists are also invited to explore the topic in their own unique way alongside their female counterparts. Images of works in the present catalogue are accompanied by artist statements and artist biographies.
