This catalogue accompanies a travelling exhibition in the United States featuring 16 Taiwanese artists whose works address the impact of human activity on the natural environment. The exhibition consists of works on paper, photographs, video works and small sculptures as well as site-specific environmental art installations and documentation of other large-scale works created in Taiwan and elsewhere. Biographical information and descriptions of artworks are included in each artist's entry. A list of significant environmental art exhibitions and symposia in Taiwan since 2003 is also provided.
