This monograph consists of a couple of articles on the art of Indian artist Naina Dalal as well as an interview with her. Issues in relation to the artist's memory and portrayal of women in her paintings are discussed. Naina is known for her works that give references to contemporary happenings, folklore and classical literature. She is greatly influenced by the European old masters, German Expressionists, Symobolists and early 20th century artists like Picasso, Kathe Kollowitz and Emile Nolde.
