The publication is produced on the occasion of solo exhibition of Indian artist Jamil Naqsh of the same title at Albemarle Gallery from July to August 2013.
Jamil Naqsh is trained as a miniaturist. He mostly paints women and pigeons, often painting women with integrated animal figures. This exhibition features on another interest of him, calligraphic paintings based on Arabic calligraphy. His style is modern and unique for the bold brush strokes and emphasis on lines.
Including Jamil Naqsh's plates and biography.
