This publication is produced in occasion of the solo exhibition of Indian artist K.P. Reji at Nature Morte, New Delhi, in April and May 2009.
'The present art works by K.P. Reji certainly continue his explorations into community life and are quite in line with his take on the political in contemporary India. However, what makes the present set of works distinct from some of his more recent works on community is the way he has pushed the conceptual thresholds of his visual language in order to probe further into the areas of life across communities, particularly the ways in which the nation state has sought to order the diversity of lives in India.' - extracted from the essay by Deeptha Achar.
Includes an interview of the artist by Sathyanand Mohan and T.V. Santhosh, and a biography of the artist.
