Roslisham Ismail is the fourth recipient of the annual AHC Visual Arts Residency Award, an exchange programme initiated by the Australian High Commission to give Malaysian artists the opportunity to live and work in Australia for an extended period of time. The work of Roslisham Ismail centres around his personal experience in urban communities. Keluar 90 Hari is a visual diary chronicling his Australian fairy tale trip. Crammed with handwritten notes, SMS messages, emails, comic book style drawings and collages made from a plethora of memorabilia, it documents his daily encounters and reflects a range of emotions and moods.
