Catalogue of exhibition entitled 'Miwa Yanagi - Deutsche Bank Collection' at Deutsche Guggenheim in 2004. Featured in the catalogue are photographs from Yanagi's Elevator Girls series and My Grandmothers series. For Elevator Girls, the artist clothed her models in identical outfits and arranged them in groups, stood them in a row, or sat them on the floor. Photographs in My Grandmothers series depict images of women artifically aged by cosmetics and computer technology, who narrate their dreams for the future. With artist interview by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and Hans Ulrich Obrist, and artist biography.
