This material was published in conjunction with a short intensive resident seminar program at the Akiyoshidai International Art Village. As executive director, Masahshi Kimura mentions in the foreword, Naoya Hatakeyama did fieldwork with six participants around Akiyoshidai Art Village which was surrounded by caves, limestone escarpment, and quarries. Among the related programs, Hatakeyama’s solo exhibition ‘Blast,’ and the participants’ group exhibition are reported with images.
