Catalogue published in conjunction with the 2017 Asian Art Biennial 'Negotiating the Future' organised by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. The biennial featured artworks by 36 artists/collectives from 21 countries selected by four curators—Kenji Kubota from Japan, Ade Darmawan from Indonesia, Wassan Al-Khudhairi from Iraq, and Hsiao-Yu Lin from Taiwan.

The catalogue includes four curatorial essays, colour plates of works with artists' statements, and artist biographies.

'The theme “Negotiating the Future” features the momentum and limitless potential of contemporary art, as well as the possibilities for art to negotiate and strike a balance among various conflicts of power and relations.
