The exhibition entitled Not all is Visible featured works from the Astrup Fearnley Collection by such artists: Matthew Barney, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Olafur Eliasson, Janet Cardiff and Georges Bures Miller, Rirkrit Tiravanija and Koo Jeong-A. The artists diverge in many respects, from their nationalities to the techniques and conceptual apparatuses they apply to their practices. But more importantly, they share a desire to rejuvenate stereotypical art making tendencies and too innovate with how audiences experience and interpret structures within the exhibition space. The present catalogue includes introduction by Gunnar B. Kvaran, and texts by Hanne Beate Ueland on the works of individual artists.
