Organised by the Indonesian National Gallery in collaboration with ruangrupa (a community which supports video art activities in Indonesia), OK Video: Jakarta Video Art Festival 2003 brought together works by artists from 20 countries. These video works are grouped under 4 themes:
Bodies, Identities; Politics; Mass Culture; and Private Space, Public Space.(as below). A brief description of each work is provided in this catalogue.
There is also a section called 'Special Presentation' in which 3 groups/initiatives (Videotage-Hong Kong; Videoart Center-Tokyo; PULSE-South Africa) working on video art are invited to exhibit a compilation of videoworks along with documentation, activities and profiles.
