Chinese artist Peng Qianghua's paintings are views of traditional Chinese houses and gardens set in a rural landscape. Using colours such as orange, pink and yellow to paint the trees and to juxtapose the rather pale colour of the roof of the houses - grey, Peng creates interesting composition in his paintings. Artist biography is included. With foreword by Fred W. Scholle.
