This catalogue was published on the occasion of 'Power of the Word', a travelling exhibition presented at the Falconer Gallery at Grinnell College, its first venue in the United States. The exhibition and its tour was organized by Independent Curators International (ICI), New York. The nine Chinese artists featured both celebrate and critique the conventions of Chinese calligraphy in order to present a fresh understanding of the relationship between language and art. With essay by Chang Tsong-zung.
