This catalogue was published in conjunction with the 2nd Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2002. Under the theme of 'Imagined Workshop', it featured works made of indigenous materials using local skills and those made in collaboration between artists and artisans such as terracotta, textile, and handicraft works as well as paintings. These works will cultivate a new path in the possibilities of art and society, by discovering new values in works made by hands, involving alternative methods of expression to 'art' and seeking for the new philosophy of collaboration. Over 37 artists from across Asia participated in this Triennale, and their biographical information are provided at the back.
