This exhibition was put together as a documentary of Yu Hong's life, from her birth in 1966 to the present (2002). Photographs or newspaper clippings of historical and political incidents are juxtaposed against the artist's paintings of herself, her family and friends. This way of telling one's history is studied in Nicole Hess's essay. Also included here is a biography of Yu Hong.
