This publication is produced on the occasion of solo exhibition of Chinese artist Zhang Huan of the same title at Pace Beijing, China from May to July 2010 .

Zhang Huan is a Chinese contemporary artist who specializes in performance art. He utilizes extreme and impressive ways to raise the ultimate questions regarding human existence. In this particular exhibition, Zhang uses the body as a medium for reflection and experimentation, finding resonance in Buddhism. He directly applies his knowledge of the Buddhist interpretation of nature to the use of simple materials, such as incense ash and animal skins.

Includes plates of Zhang's art works and his chronology.
