A painting by Tran Diem Van presented at 'Sunshine'.
The exhibition ‘Sunshine’ juxtaposed works by Tran Diem Van and Leonie Arnold, two women artists of different generation, background and nationality. Vietnamese artist Tran Diem Van presented in the show her paintings inspired by narratives on childhood and her own mystic perception of the world. Leonie Arnold from New Zealand, who is known for her artistic porcelain dolls, had her series of personified mask-like Sun and Moon in bright colours on display. The two artists shared a similar approach to art and life, where naiveté, mystery and fantasy intersected in their works.
