This is an art criticism about the exhibition 'Louis Vuitton: A Passion for Creation' held from 22 May to 9 August 2009 at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. The exhibition is jointly presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Louis Vuitton and the Fondation Louis Vuitton pour la Création and in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong. The author criticises the close linkage of art and business and the spending of six million Hong Kong dollars in organizing the exhibition by the Hong Kong Government. He further criticises the commercialization of creativity and the flooding culture of designer labels.
