This is the exhibition catalogue of Ding Yanyong, one of the most renowned Chinese artists of the 20th century. Many of the paintings presented in this catalogue demonstrate the famous ‘I Pi’ (to paint in a single brushstroke) style which became his hallmark. A variety of subjects are covered in this exhibition, ranging from flower-and-bird, opera characters, landscapes, and scenes taken from Chinese history and folklore. A detailed biography of the artist is included in this catalogue.
