A review of the the show Skin: Inks, a large scale exhibition by tattoo artists on view at 2 Wellington Street, Hong Kong until July 2, 2008.  Each artist was given a life-size canvas photo portrait to display their tattooing skills.   At the end of the show, the canvases will be auctioned to raise funds for the youth outreach charity Kely Support Group. Organized by Jay FC of China Stylus and Timon Wehrli of Red Dog Studio, the exhibition sought to bring attention to an underexposed art form.  Celebrity tattoo artist Gabe Shum Long-wai, old school masters such as Jimmy Ho and Ricky Lo, and promising new talents (Julia Wilson of Star Crossed Tattoo studio in Tsim sha Tsui) took part.
