This is catalogue of the exhibition 'Synthetic Times: Media Art China 2008' held at the National Art Museum of China from June to July 2008. The exhibition is a cultural project of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It features new media artworks created during the past decade by artists around the world. The exhibition is organized around four themes: 'Beyond Body', 'Emotive Digital', 'Recombinant Reality' and 'Here, There and Everywhere'. Additional programs organized by different international art organizations are also presented. Biographies are provided in this catalogue.
