Writer David Teh rhapsodizes about the fluidity of Thailand and the history of art, despite Bangkok's current concrete architecture and the past history of monumental art.  He feels that Bangkok should take a moment to reflect on how it will support its new museums in light of the failure of TCDC.  He is most concerned with the state of contemporary art, which has no history of state, royal and corporate patronage.
