The body of work Wei Dong created for this exhibition reflects his early childhood memories and offers us a glimpse into his secret imaginary world. Another important message these works bring forth is the artist’s passion in depicting women, who he finds to be closer to nature and possess a purity of real significance. He compares the oppression women suffer to similar experience of his childhood. Artist’s biography is included.
